Bill Gates can bite my fileserver

So after 3 years, I bit the bullet and finally installed Windows on my machine. The reason is simple: you can *either* run a clean Linux system with all open source software, *or* a system that will run commercial software on a Windows/Linux dual-boot setup. The reasons for this are more numerous than I want to get into, so I will suffice to say that I have learned ( a great many things )

In other news, my mail from the last 3 years did not make the transition successfully, so anything I had before Saturday that I haven't responded to, is gone.. Sorry.

Off to go fsck with it some more...
