Progress is hard!
Jul. 13th, 2005 08:07 amLast night we decided to tackle some of the mountains of Stuff That Needs To Go Elsewhere (mostly either to the dumpster or the Gaia Community Garage Sale). 3 bags & boxes of trash later, and 3 containers of saleable items (at least...), I crashed hard for sleep. But I should document just a smattering of things we found:
But right now, I have to go get ready for an echocardiogram; I should probably mention that this is routine (for a non-functional heart-murmur I've known about for decades), except for the part where they scheduled me for today, on Monday, without asking me. Gotta call my boss first...
::edit:: Echocardiograpm went fine. They did have to stick an IV of saline in to do a 'microbubble' test, which is a strange little experience. Actually I had a lot of fun trying to keep my heart rate even, or seeing what would speed it up, slow it down, etc. A resting rate of 68-75 bpm is a little higher than I'd like, but seeing as I haven't exercised regularly in years, I'll take it. More amusing was the fact that my heart rate actually *dropped* several beats per minute when the nurse put in the IV. That's how little bloodwork bothers me.
- A full set of Asterix the Gaul Pez dispensers, still in the original packaging;
- items from last year's God Auction which will remain unnamed;
- My ^&$@%$* GPS unit which wandered off into a small cardboard box 18 months ago or so;
- My old hair-band tapes (and non-hair-band tapes as well);
- yarn/embroidery floss circa 1972;
- several disposable cameras and rolls of undeveloped, but shot, film;
- my EIR graduation certificate;
- the Forced Values Survey I'd been looking for (that's still on my ToDo list);
- and much, much more! Find out all about it on July 22nd and 23rd...

Date: 2005-07-13 07:29 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, the sale is in ~10 days and I'm not sure how to go about contacting Pez afficionados in that time frame.
