So a bunch of local people (and people who I suppose could make themselves local) made noises about going to see this when it came out. I'm going to combine this with the responses on the GaiaUU list, so feel free to let me know in either place what you'd prefer. Obviously if you're not from the KC metro area, you can walk on by...

::edit:: Apparently I was misinformed; it doesn't open Thursday/Friday night at midnight, but W/Th at midnight. So while there are probably midnight shows then, that doesn't seem to be the hardest of the hardcore options, and it's not proving very popular anyway...

I'm all for Saturday afternoon or evening, if we don't want to interfere with the Chaos Cube Desecration.

I was apparently misinformed about it opening Thursday at midnight; it opens Wednesday/Thursday at midnight, and will be showing in matinees on Thurs and Friday.

I can usually commit to Saturday shindigs, as long as I schedule what *I* want to do first. If work schedules me first, or on the rare occasion my boss schedules me for something...then no.

Being as the Neighborhood Tour for the 21st has been postponed to June, the matinee would work, except for the Chaos Cube event I didn't know about.

my last class "stuff" is due the 24th, so the end is near, but not near enough. then a glorious 3 weeks in europe come june. =) i plan to be thin, tanned and toned upon my return. and then... watch out world. ;) how are things with you?

Darci, if you get any thinner, you'll disappear when you turn sideways... but I'm all in favor of tanned and toned due to a trip to Europe. Where are you going to be?

Things here are stupid-busy (no surprise there), and just blew up my computer with a power surge last night. Other than that, I think we're all doing pretty well.

things blowing up... not so good.

for 3 weeks i will be journeying from Amsterdam to Prague, to Croatia (I can't spell the city), Budapest, Geneva (this is actually school related -- hee hee), and then of course Paris... it should be glorious. mark the yahoo photo album link on my page and that is where the pictures will be. I leave June 8th and return the 30th. (I turn 31 in Budapest!!). so that is life in a nutshell.

i'm off to save the world... but i would rather go back to sleep... **sigh**
