LiveJournal periodically decides, apparently, that I don't need to see your posts, and excludes them from my friends page. Between that and the icon-shifting on commentary, you have like the most unstable LJ ever.

The new trick LJ is pulling on me is logging me out from time to time, and showing my friends page without the Default View filter (no communities) ...but only sometimes. Weird.

Is it only excluding the 'locked' posts? If so, it might be forgetting you're logged in...refreshing the page sometimes brings those back, without me ever having to log back in.

Nah, it's all your posts. Mostly they are there, but every so often they just disappear - and it's not like I'm just hitting a cached page, because newer stuff will be there, but just not you. Locked posts are more prone to this though - the one from the other day I only saw on my friends page like once - I thought at first you'd deleted it, but no, it was still there, I just wasn't seeing it. It's the weirdness.

The other latest thing is inconsistent comment counts (remember the pshycotic weirdness when ALL comments disappeared one night?). I go to my Friends page, I see 4 comments on this post and *1* on the VTM post before it. Refresh, and the numbers are fine.

I have no idea. In other fun news, apparently the 'Default View' of your friends page only extends to your own self viewing it; everyone else now gets ALL of my communities, etc, in my friends view. That was Not According To Plan.

So yeah. LJ sucks, or I'm not l337 enough for it, or...what's the gripping hand?
