Got this one from [livejournal.com profile] chronarchy a while back but wanted to wait until a few people got back from being out of town/away from their computers. Should be interesting...

My journal was actually already set to accept anonymous comments; but the idea is that this thread should be ALL anonymous. Feel free to tell me anything, or ask me anything, or say anything; I'm not interested in who said it, and posts which are not anonymously posted (by accident or otherwise) will be deleted unread.

And no, for those keeping score at home, this has nothing to do with masochistic tendencies regarding last week's drama; it was already in the works for when the TCP got home.

Why is it so massively important that these be anonymous, to the point where you would delete us protesters?

(I'm really boring, I don't have any other interesting questions to ask, lol.)

Well, the whole point is/was to get commentary that was not otherwise forthcoming; if I don't get any, I'll just assume I'm soooo accessible that this was an unnecessary gambit. ;)

Plus, it's a good game to play with a Mercury in Scorpio; can I resist trying to decipher who is who?

That can't be a terribly entertaining game; I should think our distinctive writing syles would make the answers quite obvious.

But, to play along: ...

Hell, I can't think of anything that I particularly want to ask you. I've already asked it all to your face. Carry on, then.

So, perhaps we should make a big game of it? Everyone go to someone on his friends list. Look at their writing style and try to copy it. Then come here and ask a question in their writing style. Let's see if we can confuse him fully.

Why would you need to wait until people are out of town/away from their computers to do it?

Maybe I phrased that poorly

Last week there was an eruption on one of the email lists I help moderate. Because it involved online (LJ and Yahoo!Groups) and RL friends, it got fairly hairy for a bit. It seems to be settling itself out now, but yesterday I think I 'worried' a lot of people by skipping Gaia and then coming afterward in an 'all-business' mood.

[livejournal.com profile] chronarchy starts a lot of shit, doesn't he?

In general, I find you intellegent and well spoken. Don't remember if you found me first, or if I found you, but however it is, it's worked out well.

Looking through your LJ interests, though, I need to ask:

Got any pictures of those hot cheerleader cats? I can't find anything but pay sites for them.

ask and ye shall receive

Cuddly, cute, pettable. utterly devoid of thought.

Cheerleader cat (among her fluffy subjects).

Nope, no clue.

Eris in all her glory?

I want your opinion on this. For Beltaine me and my cohorts have designed a ritual that incorporates a renewing of vows and then goes it to a mock feast which then moves into a improv play involving one golden apple with in inscription "To the Prettist One". The Mark, I mean Paris shall be chosen at random during the ritual based upon who dosen't know the myth. While three women will have semi-prepared speaches ready, so they can plead their case, all present shall be allowed to state while they are deserving. What do you think?

*blink* Are you serious? If you don't know the backstory of my New Member Sunday at Gaia Community, then I'll answer you: yes, I think it's a fantastic idea! Having a Paris who you actually don't prep on what he's going to say makes the myth have that much more effect. You do run the risk of paralyzing the Mark with indecision however, depending on how many people you're talking about...

And if you're pulling my leg and do know that I got to be yanked in as Paris in an Erisian ritual one spring, then my answer is still yes, for the above reasons.

None of the above should be implying I want to know who wrote it; just curious if it was serendipity or sublime humor.
