Beards I have (now) known
Jun. 15th, 2009 10:28 amQuestion for the Vast Unpaid Research Department: Does anyone know where to borrow a copy of "Fashions in Hair: The First Five Thousand Years" by Richard Corson? I really would like to get a look at their plate on the English square-cut beard, which is amazingly hard to locate by the usual means (i.e. Google and the public library).
I suspect it is this, but I'd like to know for sure.

If you ask nicely, one of the Lawrence Crew may be kind enough to look it up for you next time they're over there.

Facetious comparison of your potential face to that of b-list supervillain.
