Seriously weird (deja vu)

Okay, I must be stuck in a timeloop or something. Didn't we already have the story about the girl who was lost for 10 days and survived by eating dried pre-processed food and sport drinks, with her dead mother nearby?

I swore this story broke like 3 weeks ago, but now they're saying she was just found on 4/14...

Time loop perhaps, but one from three weeks ago was a 3 year old who lived on ketchup in an apartment for a week after mom died. These stories are not horribly uncommon.

Apparently the one I was thinking of was back in *September*. Where the hell did winter go?

Anyway, this was a case of the mother going off to jail and leaving her toddler behind. And I also found one from Amsterdam that might be the right timeline for your story.

Ugh. I knew these things happened; maybe having a godden-daughter is making me notice them more now.

Oh yeah, that one too... seems to me I hear them every few weeks. In another one possibly months ago, two younger boys were getting up and going to school day after day (6 and 8?) after mom died. They went to school for a week before they were caught due to matted hair.
