Okay, maybe that won't work. But besides
featherynscale, is there anyone here who plays the logic game Mafia?
Basically, if you're not familiar with it it works like this: a group of people all get secret roles. Some are 'townspeople', or the good guys; some are mafia or other 'scum', and trying to kill the good guys. The town's only weapon is to choose, once a Day, to lynch someone. When they are dead you find out what their role was; then at Night the mafia get to communicate with each other and kill someone. There are versions with more complicated rules/roles but that's the gist of it.
If all the mafia die first, the town wins. If enough townspeople die that the mafia can no longer be lynched (for example, if there were 10 players and 3 mafia, if the numbers dropped to 4 with two mafia still alive, they would be victorious, since they wouldn't vote for each other, and the remaining townspeople could not get a majority vote on one of them).
If you've played in person and have trouble finding enough people, I encourage you to try out MafiaScum.net, where they have many games going on at once. They'll be slower-moving than you're used to in person (on the order of RL weeks to play a 'days'-long game), but it's a devilish amount of fun and good logic/bluffing practice. If you haven't played in person (like me), it's still fun, but I have a feeling it's a totally different game in person. One nice thing about online Mafia is it allows for 'themed games': HHG2tG Mafia, LOTR Mafia, High School Mafia, etc...
You know; just in case you needed another time-waster on your plate. *smirk*
