So work re-installed Websense, or at least finally got it working on all of their proxy servers. It was sort of spotty before I left for vacation, but now it's like bleedin' Alcatraz. By which I mean rusty, full of holes, and operated in a way that makes very little sense for the inmates employees.

I contented myself yesterday with a few breaching experiments while I waited for other stuff/needed a break, but my LJ (and most other things...like Google) access is extremely limited during the day for the forseeable future. C'est la job.

Well, Google Calendar is now intermittent about actually reading/writing anything submitted to it; Google Docs if offlimits. Gmail always was banned, which is fine... Google Sites is okay I think, but Google Groups is blocked. And I can no longer *sign in* to Google from IE (Firefox is somehow fine), so my customizations, settings, etc are all lost in the void. Yahoo is actually similar, but somewhat more accessible (only because they do more widgets/plugins).

I upgraded to IE 7, which was broadly a mistake except for granting me tabbed browsing, but to little avail. And both browsers are now intermittently 'failing' to load any new pages, and are slower when they do. I have to reload a browser probably 20 times a day.
