I do that all the time, and sometimes I'm even calling a person who has a Blackberry. I have web access on my phone, but I know I can get the information *faster* the other way.

Almost did that today!!! Then realized I could wait till I got home to find out. ;) But I've done that often usually calling lulumai ar agrnmn when he was a SAHD.

I do this often, particularly when driving/lost (so, often), and ruisseau is my usual phone-a-friend, as she's most likely to be at/near computer. ;)

Never had it done to me, but I've done that a time or two. I've also asked someone I was with to phone one of *their* friends to look something up online for me. ;)
