Will be out-of-pocket today, in the Faraday cage underground storage facility our office uses. So in lieu of me posting anything, I give you a meme for me to return to, and work on... (caught this originally from [livejournal.com profile] arkhamrefugee I believe):

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

What is the best thing about being part of The Trinity?

Do you have any regrets? If so, what are they?

Out-of-pocket? Like, you're paying with your own cash? I don't get it, though I do appreciate the reference to a Faraday cage.

Have you seen Enemy of the State? It's a spiritual sequel to The Conversation, with Hackman playing essentially the same character, and it is the only film in which I can recall a Faraday cage prominently featured.

No, in this case "out-of-pocket" is more of a billiards reference, i.e. "I won't be where I'm supposed to be". I'm not sure where I picked that one up from... I use the other money-based statement too, but this one's always adjectival, not adverbial.

Hmm. Lots of people I know make reference to Faraday cages on a regular basis, but yes, I've seen EotS. Haven't seen The Conversation though, is it good?

The Conversation is brilliant, and it's all about the state of the art of surveillance in the early 1970s.

It's also one of Coppola's best films.

I am going to get all serious on ya... What do you bring to your Unitarian Universalist community from your druidic studies?
