Ergh. Monday came waaaay too early this weekend. Didn't help that we were up until Hmrpeh:00 AM on Saturday/Sunday talking with [livejournal.com profile] zylch's sisters-in-truth-if-not-law, [livejournal.com profile] ysabel and [livejournal.com profile] amaltheae; very cool people though, and I don't regret it. I did have to yank myself out of circulation last night though and recharge my solitude batteries.

It's probably a sign that I woke up this morning humming "I Don't Like Mondays", despite only having heard it once to my knowledge, and that was sometime last week. I don't have nearly a good enough ear to tell whether it was the Boomtown Rats version or the Bon Jovi version, but I'm fairly certain it wasn't the Tori Amos version. I think.

So yeah, fairly useless on a Monday morning (oh hey, it's 12:30 now...), but then things like this story put it all in perspective. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] bean_drui for the link: it seems this gentleman's wife went into a coma last September and he's been visiting her every day for months. So he finally gives up on her ever recovering and kills himself... and she wakes up 12 hours later. In Italy. Padua, to be exact. Near Verona. I couldn't *make* this stuff up, folks...
