Maybe not so UNaccountably tired...
Nov. 1st, 2004 01:28 pmIs it usual to get up Monday morning less rested than you were Friday night? It seems sort of unlikely, but that's the way it's worked around our house for a couple of months. Work's "busy season" continues to run longer every year...first it was late September, then it was mid-October, now I've got half a dozen evening and weekend events to attend in November, already...
Of course, in addition to everything else, I've been trying to finish out the Dark Tower series; I'm a little more than halfway through Book 7 but several people on my friends' list haven't read it yet so no spoilers, please. Roland just met Moses Carver's gunslinger daughter, if that helps...
In other news, my world continues to grow smaller. I went to City Hall this morning to drop something off, and a departmental manager on our floor asked if I lived near 118th & Virginia. "Ummm...yes?" "Oh, I thought that was you I saw throwing pumpkins around the front yard." "Yep, that was me...I guess we're neighbors?"
So that's fun.
P.S. Those of you looking for the results of the Condorcet voting experiment, never fear; I'll get the results and analysis of that posted up here in a little bit.
