  1. Has anyone else found Google Image Search much less useful in the last week or so? It seems like all of a sudden the total number of results, and the relevance of said results, is much lower than I remember it being... particularly for copyrighted images due to the meme going around last week (that I'm still working on), but it seems to be returning less data in general. Maybe they changed their algorithm?
  2. Anyone know of an LJ-trick/3rd-party tool that will allow you to shift people from one Filter Group to another? http://www.livejournal.com/friends/editgroups.bml is a pain-in-the-ass, frankly, when trying to shift a bunch of people from Default to Secondary or Local to Long-Distance, for example; what I really want is to be able to drag-and-drop people from one group to another. Not sure if any of the clients do this, I haven't messed with them before. My friendslist is spiraling upward out of "manageable" though...
I think that's it. Other stupid questions gladly taken in response, I'll trade you a stupid answer.

I have found Google Image Search to be virtually worthless in the last two weeks or so. I blame Google Image Labeler, even though it's been around longer than two weeks. If it's adding any tag that two people think pertains, it's going to water down the results to just north of useless.

Aha, I knew thought I wasn't crazy...

bastards. Yahoo's Image search is now tied in with Flikr, which sounds good on first blush but just means it's flooded with pictures of somebody's pets when you look up "Clifford" for example.

I haven't really used Google Image Search in the last week or so, but depending on what you are looking for, if you accidentally switched "safe mode" on, that kills a lot of interesting results :)

If you are using some sort of Win platform, you might want to try Semagic.

Their "edit friends" interface might do what you want, but I cannot verify that from home where I live on this Mac Powerbook.

If you find something for the whole friends filter issue, it would be awesome if you hook me up with it. Gracias.
