Overheard in a DMing debate about available equipment:

"Nobody ever lets me have an apparatus of Kwalish, so they can't have one either!"

Also, we're finally going to get the chance to really attempt to kill our players, soon. There are reasons most D&D campaigns don't take place in stable Imperiums... random encounters get a little thin on the ground!
