Thing One: Somebody discovered kryptonite. Well, sort of. Thanks for this story go to zylch, who gets her news eight hours ahead of the rest of us. ;)

Thing the Second: montecook (formerly of Wizards of the Coast) has an LJ. And he's a big dork (and no one was surprised, again). But he's funny, at least.

Thing C: Now that I've got some brainspace freed up from the Amnesia Campaign (most of our work for Friday's session is done, finally), here's that meme from last Friday that made the rounds:

1. Primarily, because I know you in person. However, I also know (in person) that you're a lot of fun and have interesting things to say, so that helped.

3. I like that you almost always stay so upbeat, and even when you're not, you're the type to bounce back quickly. I admire that quality a great deal in others.

1. As I recall, you're one of the reasons I'm on this damn thing. It was easier to track your posts if I friended you, so I did. :P

4. Excellent. :) That's the most self-indulgent song ever written, in my humble opinion, and I like to sing it when I'm making fun of myself.

6. No, but I have been completely and ostentatiously ignored by a disinterested deity. It's not exactly the same as being told no, but it's sort of a downer, still. Of course, I was later able to sort out that I had no business trying to ally myself with that deity, so it's all right in the end.

7. I use it on the rare occasion that a Dark Tower reference crops up. It's also meant for occasions on which I give up on someone or something, which occur much more rarely.

1. See above, you were one of the few people I knew on here before I got an account. It was easier to friend you than keep track of several separate people's journals, and here we are... since Vineyard eventually went down, I consider it a good choice.
   
2. Maglites. You still have one of the more impressive collections I've ever seen.
   
3. Gee, I dunno... how about your ability to talk me into stoopid shit with that "C'mon, it'll be fun!" grin. Like staying in Tennessee an extra day or two....*rolls eyes*

7. Your TV show ones (like above) still mystify me, but they're unique to you in my experience, and usually very appropriate. (and yes, you've told me what the show is, it just doesn't stick since we don't watch much TV)

Re: 2 - I've added another one that you haven't seen. Black 4 D size. Found it brand new at the flea market for $10 a few years ago. Also, my red one still does and forever will bear the mark of the Quirkmobile & the infamous spark plug incident though.

Re: 3 (& sorta 5) - Is it wrong that it makes me giggle like mad? You could have said no....(and wouldn't have had the state police looking for you, albeit in the wrong state...)
