So as [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale alluded to earlier, we're running a D&D campaign on the "Amnesia" model (based on a campaign [livejournal.com profile] ursulav was in, partially). They've done Something, and then Something Bad happened, and they've forgotten who they are. Of course their equipment has become separated from them, so they can't figure it out that easily...

It starts Friday, so it's not like you all can really crack the code or anything before our players get to play, but this is all they get for their characters at first. More memories will filter in later, like, say, what class they are.

Actually, we don't hate our players, or their characters. In fact, we've gotten rather inordinately fond of them over the course of creating their world, and history, and damn near everything else. It's probably the easiest sort of campaign for players to jump into, and the most maddening shortly thereafter.

Not even aware of their abilities of skills?

That's deliciously evil.

Why can't I stop chuckling at the idea?

As I replied to [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale's post about this...

Damn that look like fun. Makes me wish I was closer to KC.

What, no character who wakes up, realizes he's lost his mind, but doesn't care, and just sets out for himself?

That's a bit up to them...

...and actually, I had this post planned before she made hers, but she was quicker on the draw.
