  1. Do you always dream in color and with sensation?

As far as I can tell, yes. I've never noticed them to be specifically b&w/lacking in some sense (though I'm never sure about taste and smell), and they're graphic enough for me to tell if the color wasn't there, I'd think.

  2. I have always wanted to know why you chose Criminal Justice.

Simple: I wanted to be a cop. I started out in Engineering, that didn't work out (not smart/dedicated enough, flunked ENGR 1111 by not participating), tried Education but their Math Ed program was kinda a shambles, switched to Elem Ed but that bored me. I took inventory one day of what my OLD dreams and goals had been, and came up with law enforcement. I finished my entire remaining degree requirements in 3 semesters.

  3. When & where do you want to retire?

When? When I can't do the work anymore, or when I am financially secure enough to stop working. Where? Probably either in the Pacific Northwest, the Upper Midwest, or select parts of New England. With lots of trips out of country, one thing I can't do now.

  4. Do you have any past life impressions or memories?

Not that I can ever identify as such, no.

  5. What is the one thing you would like done for you or given to you, that you would never do for yourself?

As stupid as it sounds, I need people to kinda 'pester' me to actually find out how I'm doing. "I'm fine" comes out too easily as a lie after years/decades of bottling things up. But I can't seem to open up first, so I have to settle for giving nonverbal cues (i.e. sulking/pouting) until someone pokes me again for what's really wrong. Dysfunctional, but there it is.

Wait. Sulking and saying "I'm fine" is a cue?

Check.

More or less.

It's not a perfect cue, but if I say I'm fine, or just shrug, or whatever, and then *don't leave*, it means I want to say but am not comfortable saying it yet.

On the other hand, if I'm still moving about while answering, I'm probably either a) really fine, or b) too mad to talk about it. Those should be fairly easy to tell apart, most times. :)

Good to know. We'll try that for a bit and see how it works. :)

I totally recognize that cue! Do you also do the "If I look at you when I say "fine" either I am or I don't want to talk about it, but if I look away you should pester me" cue?

I'm not sure I'm qualified to answer that, but I think so...I'm not quite that sophisticated in my neuroses. ;)
