Day Off

Like (most) good government drones, I get President's Day (Observed) off from work, so what do I do with it?

• Draft bylaws;
• Recover from starwyse's fabulous party on Saturday;
• Sleep in until 11, sort of;
• Make an omelette;
• Not wear pants for 48 hours...wait (counts back to the kilt at Star's party) like 61 hours.

Heh. Life is good.

I was surprisingly un-cold on Saturday, considering the temperature was a LITTLE lower than it usually is in Scotland, and the kilt was a LITTLE lighter...

I'm just glad kittenpants found my sporran yesterday!

Today is one of those days when they have said, "It is normally a day off for those guberment but we want you to work this day. Therefore, here is a day when you can take it any time you want."

So, I am at work today. I get a "floating" holiday so it's not like I *don't* get a day off, just not today.

Ah, and here I was a corporate wage slave and actually went to work today...

... even though I had the group manager asking me why I was there... I guess my voice is still a leetle bit gravely. That's better than it was last week.
