Date: 2003-12-11 07:58 am (UTC)I myself have no problem using "he" as both a masculine and neuter form; Latin and Greek do much the same thing, and working with two thoroughly gendered languages had pretty well broken me of the habit of associating grammatically masculine forms exclusively with biological masculinity. But in this case, weirdness was the point.
