I'm beginning to wonder if anyone I know is *not* Vera...

I just noticed your music choice: Stabbing Westward's "Save Yourself".

Honestly, that particular video always struck me as extremely good. I thought that the video was done in such a way that it made the song that much better and impressive.

Honestly, I haven't watched MTV (or whatever variant actually plays videos these days) in so long that I've never seen the video for this. The song, however, is extremely catchy, and I like it a lot.

Ack! Earworm!

Yes, it *is* extremely catchy, and it's stuck in my head now.
I saw them once - they opened for Depeche Mode on the Singles tour. Their lead singer stood on top of one of the footlights for almost their entire set, so largely what I recall about their performace was the fact that we all had to stare at his velvet-panted, spotlighted crotch for 45 minutes. The music didn't make that much of an impression :-P

music vs. crotch

'didn't make that much of an impression' in an absolute sense, or a comparative sense?

Both, really. Not that his crotch was all that impressive, particularly, nor that I'm generally impressed by crotches all that much, but the image does sort of stay with one.

I was, however, impressed by his pants.

I think it's the low tolerance to stupidity that's tripping the alarm....and probably why we all get along so well.

Would you *please* email me your new snail address? Don't make me have to ask [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants. ;P
