Yark. Now see, I understand that it is the job of the Secret Service to protect the President and look into any threat on his life, but um... I don't think you can prosecute someone for praying to God that someone else suffer Grievous Bodily Harm. I'm pretty sure that went out with the Witch Trials in this country.

Paranoid administration + Vast amounts of information/communication/creativity going into a searchable database = Cops at the Door for Somebody.

And, given the tendency of this lot to arrest people for the obscenity of t-shirts that read "Protect Our Civil Rights", and the tendency of people I know on the net to express opinions ridiculing the administration, I suppose it's astounding that this has not happened to anyone we know yet.

Desperate men do desperate things. Yes they would and can very easily due to sections of the "Patriot Act" The NSA has had the capablity for quite some time. It is just that the other agencies can now use it legally under new rules.(and not Bill Mares's)
