Clinton did something that no republican and most democrats wouldn't dare to do. He challenged the Tobacco companies. And that, not sleeping with Monica Lewinsky (sp) was his downfall. How many presidents have had affairs while in the White House? Almost all of them, I would bet. Still, we don't hear much about it. And besides, what a president does in their bedroom SHOULD NOT affect political affairs. He may have been a womanizer, but he was good in politics and charismatic and bold. He cared about the arts. He had a lot of good qualities, despite the bad.
Good qualities I cannot bring myself to find in Bush. I think we were better off with Clinton.
