Gotta love virtual-reality-within-a-dream, dreams...

I was apparently enrolled in a program (or signed up for a game) which involved catapulting (rocketting?) figures through the roofs of suburban-style houses in such a way that they would hit a button on the wall, thereby destroying the house. The angle of attack, style of house, and location of the button varied considerably, but generally got harder each time.

At some point I got unplugged from the game and someone (who may have been an amalgamation of [livejournal.com profile] featherynscale and [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants) told me that I was *actually* destroying *real* houses. I argued about this for a while, but this person persuaded me to escape the program. So we did, and of course our next thought was, they're going to destroy *our* house. So we go to get all living things out of the house, and of course the White Van of Government Secrecy is coming down 118th Street behind us. It's first shot (of a missile, not a person) falls short and embeds itself in the ground. Somewhere along the line we've also acquired a missile, though it's not a Stinger, like this one (yes, I realize the Stinger is a SAM in the real world). So we get the brilliant idea of using the missile *we've* got to knock their next shot out of the air, and then fling (yes, by hand) the Stinger back at the van once it pulls in the driveway.

This appears to work flawlessly. Their missile explodes against our front porch, they pull up, first guy gets out of the van, the Stinger explodes the van behind him with all of his friends still on board, he surrenders in shock... and I wake up.
