So the first report by the US weapons inspectors (as opposed to the UN weapons inspectors and IAEA nuclear inspectors who came up largely negative in the past) is out, and it's not good. Unsophisticated attempts to revive programs, a single vial of botulinum toxin (yeah, the same stuff they use in California for Botox), and some 'clear ambitions'. What? That's it?

Not to worry, though; our fearless leader understands better than we do: He believes that this shows that Saddam was "a danger to the world" and "Saddam Hussein actively deceived the international community"... stop me if the irony gets too much. Obviously, the lack of weapons found just shows how devious and secretive Saddam's weapons program really was! I mean, think about it; he's still able to maintain absolute secrecy after being out of power for 5 months! Our administration wishes it was so efficient...oh nevermind. I'm done. Kay's inspection team is requesting 6-9 more months, which will be just fine by me; that means this will still be alive, one way or another, in April of 2004, only 6 months before the election.

At least Clinton was a good liar.
