triadruidSo I finally set up a LiveJournal after years of complaining about soul-baring, self-congratulatory narcissism. I guess that makes me a self-congratulatory narcissist then doesn't it?
But don't expect a whole lot of soul-baring here; this is mainly a way to commit thoughts to bits-and-bytes, and stop annoying my friends with Anonymous Coward postings. *smirk*

Date: 2003-09-08 12:23 pm (UTC)In my case, it is a little of everything... but my main purpose is to serve as a reference point so I can make sure I don't get stuck in a rut.
There is also a Chaucerian perspective... logging life and it's genral mundanities at the time. So when the grandkids interview me about "year 2000" or life in the beginning of the internet age, or in the beginning of the terrorism epoch, I can look back and see what I thought at the time... without the pollution of hindsight. ;-)
