Happy Thoughts, Revisited

Today I am most happy for XKCD, mostly because it reminds me how trivial and first-world my relationship/Linux/physics/raptor problems really are, but also because it makes me laugh out loud, when so few things do.

If you've never read it, read it. Five of the last six have been brilliant (today's is kinda "eh")... and don't forget to read the title text with your cursor!

This is my favorite xkcd comic. When I get my own classroom, I'm going to make it into a poster and hang it on the wall.

You should suggest it to Randall for inclusion in the Store...maybe even a signed print!

This is the one that had me cracking up today also had to do with school...sorta. (this'll probably make no sense to you, but I'm pretty sure [livejournal.com profile] popefelix will fall over)

I sort of see the humor. Apparently the kid's name caused their database to do something stupid and that it could have been prevented by better coding? The alt-text is hysterical though. Reminds me of the guy who had a bunch of stickers available for a while that said, "Help! I'm trapped in a sticker factory!"

Wow, I have no xkcd icons. Weird.

Enjoyed these comics a lot. Sent some to hubby. He's already familiar. I liked this one: http://www.xckd.com/225/
