So I'm officially "over 30" now; birthday was quiet, overall, with most of the screaming confined to my neck spasms being worked on. Did I mention I'm getting old? I also made it to work on time this morning, which is really unlikely, all things of the morning considered.

On the plus side, I had my first annual review on Monday, for a job (or at least organization) which may very well carry me through to retirement. Now that'll make you feel old!

Pshaw. There aren't any jobs that will carry you through to retirement, unless you start working at them when you are 60. Even then, I wouldn't stake my life on it. Also, who retires, anyway? I think it's a myth.
